I've been a patient of Dr. Kuo's for over 6 years, and I cannot recommend him or his practice highly enough. After some initial testing, Dr. Kuo shared that I was likely a good candidate for radiofrequency ablation (RFA), which essentially cauterizes/tricks your brain to not feel the nerve pain. The nerves do regenerate, but the pain releif can last for up to a year. The first treatment Dr. Kuo performed felt like a miracle. I came into his office barely able to walk, but after a quick in-office procedure, I walked out without pain. With degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis, aging, and further degeneration at L5-S1, I do need a further intervention now but Dr. Kuo was supportive and assured me that a minor surgery offered now would be quick and easy compared to fusion. I have a microdiscectomy scheduled with a neurosurgeon shortly, but my long-term goal of delaying surgical intervention has so far been possible under Dr. Kuo's guidance and care. Thank you, Dr. Kuo and Hudson Medical & Wellness! ...read less

I have struggled with chronic pain for almost six years now, due to Endometriosis and IBS, and until I found Dr. Kuo no one would take me seriously. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who feels stuck or disenchanted. As a 31 year old female artist, I have encountered far too many doctors who judged me based solely on my appearance and didn't actually believe me that I was in genuine, serious pain. Dr. Kuo is a remarkable exception. He did not judge me on my "artistically funky" appearance, nor did he see me as drug seeking, which was a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend him to everyone, but particularly to young-ish females who have had trouble getting doctors to take them seriously. All the Hudson Wellness staff are wonderful and I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Kuo and his practice!! ...read less
